The second sentence begins with the words: The first Thanksgiving in 1621 was ______________________________________________________. Add a few more sentences that deal with the Pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving feast.

Today we learned about transitive and intransitive verbs. We were given a small sheet of directions for the steps to doing the homework. Please follow those steps. Find the verb first. Then find the subject. Once you have these two, you can determine whether or not a direct object is in the sentence. Lastly, indicate whether the verb is v.i. or v.t. The transitive verbs are the ones that have a direct object.

You also have a review sheet to do. You must write three quatrain poems. Each will have four lines with a different rhyming scheme... ABAB and ABCB and AABB. Don't forget to count syllables so that each line has either 8 or 6.

You may be artistic, but stick figures are ok too. You may use the back if you need more panels. Use crayones or colored pencils to color your comic strip when you are done drawing.
