Beatin' on those Blue Devils

      Today we had a pep rally during the afternoon over at the stadium. Our guys are looking all macho and ready to go. My prediction is NS 27 - Shenandoah 25. I think it'll be close because those Blue Devils have a really good quarterback.
     The morning classes today reviewed the Parts of Speech definitions.

      Homework over the long weekend:

     Copy the Parts of Speech definitions 3 times each, then read them out loud. We're trying to get these stuck in our heads. Bring these to school with you on Tuesday.

     See if you can locate 3 favorite  pictures of yourself to bring into school on Tuesday. It's ok if other people are on the same photo with you. We are going to do some creative writing next Tuesday, and it'll involve these photographs. You can take the photos home with you when we're done with the writing. The photos can be you at any age.
